The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Table
Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in influence within the city.
Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.
The Warrior Group Unveiled
Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of characters who will split off from the main group to undertake their own adventure, separate from the other two tables.
This warrior group features Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).
The Reason for Division
Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.
This explains, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.
What Defines the Soldiers Table
According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.
Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
First, the group knows exactly where to head next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his personal gain, entering the secret base, attacking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.
Casimir then settled his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.
Character Drivers
Secondly, each member has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires revenge.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a nasty place.
- Tyranny and The healer, having defied his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their status as important members in the powerful family could help the team reach areas they normally couldn’t.
- Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.
Fugitives
Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:
- The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
- The fighter is wanted dead by the family.
This results in them little choice but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of Casimir.
What’s Next?
Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to form the Questers and Planners parties.
Viewers can anticipate learning which adventurers will be in which group in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
