Comedian and author David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Acclaimed children's author and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
An official for the company stated: "Upon deliberation, and with the guidance of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the conclusion was made after an inquiry regarding allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable directed at young women.
The publisher did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, adding: "It is not our policy to discuss confidential company decisions."
A Prolific Publishing History
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, having sold over six tens of millions of copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins in 2008.
Some of his works, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works altogether, including a Christmas book titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.

His career breakthrough occurred on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
