Barça Ready for Inaugural Fixture at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday

Barcelona have announced they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league over two years after they moved out to allow renovations to start.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans can be present as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the stadium’s capacity will reach almost 105,000 spectators, up from the previous 99,000. The club said completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.

Recent Activities

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium earlier this month. They mentioned they are seeking authorization from Uefa to host the next European match facing Eintracht on 9 December at Camp Nou. Previous fixtures took place at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
