In a unexpected crossover event that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden cult.
The adventure concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an unique katana alongside several artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
